About the upcoming course

We live in an era of misnomers and fast content which can be confusing. Knowledge is power. Being able to make informed decisions, understand the depth of what it is you are growing, producing, creating nutrition-wise can really help food producers to value what they do, and manufacturers to create foods with nutrition in mind.

And then there is the basis of nutrition science, and given that nutrition is a sum total of the foods that we eat over time, foods which contain different nutritional content, it is important to understand the basic principles. Environmental factors, processing techniques, ingredient-ingredient interactions need to be understood.

This course will not make you a qualified nutritionist or dietitian. But it will help you the science of nutrition, the impact of processing, and digestion. This can help with your own food choices, but also help you to position your products better, counteract misnomers and value what you do.
